Bull Reina Isabel & Spa
A beach hotel on Las Canteras with breakfast in every rate, a pool and a free spa, about 750 m from the terminal.
Pre-Cruise Hotels · Las Palmas
Ten hotels for a Las Palmas cruise, scored on what gets you to the Santa Catalina terminal, not on reviews. Four are within about 800 m of the terminal by our map, and only one puts breakfast in every rate, so those two things decide most of it.
Three taps and we’ll show your three picks.
Change any answer and the picks change with it. They’re built from the same published facts as the ranking below. No hotel pays for a place here. Booking.com links earn us a commission, and they don’t change the order.
Matching weighs your answers against each hotel’s published shuttle, parking, breakfast, pool, kitchen and pet policies.
Five answers, and the page builds the whole thing: the hotel, the ride in, the ride to the ship, what happens to the car, what time to leave, and how you get home. Every figure is one the hotel, its brand, a named listing or the airport publishes. Where nobody publishes a number, you’ll see that instead of a guess.
There’s no cruise parking to price here, so the plan assumes you fly in.
Who’s coming and the mood come from Your Match; the plan uses the same answers.
Partner links may earn Seabound Journeys a commission at no extra cost to you. They don't change the plan, which is built only from what each company publishes. Fares are in euros as printed on October 19, 2026.
Bull Reina Isabel wins: breakfast in every rate, a free spa and a pool, about 750 m from the terminal. AC Gran Canaria and LIVVO Lumm tie on points; the AC takes second because it’s nearer, about 450 m.
Narrow the ten by what your night needs. Save the ones you like. Tick up to three to compare side by side — the order is ours, the shortlist is yours.
Why ten? Several hotels near the port publish only through booking sites, and we ranked the ones whose facts we could read. Two are scored from named listings, not their own sites, and say so.
Add your sail date and the links open on the night before.
Booking.com links are affiliate links: Seabound Journeys may earn a commission if you book, at no extra cost to you. It doesn't change our rankings, which come only from what each hotel publishes. Affiliate disclosure.

Pick how you’re arriving. The board counts what each hotel publishes, the table lights up that column, and the cards below are the rides from the airport.
None of the ten runs a ride to the ship. One airport-area hotel lists a free airport shuttle, and two sell paid transfers without a price.

From the rank outside the terminal. Las Palmas city taxis can’t pick up at the airport; the ranks are worked by Telde and Ingenio taxis, per RTVC.

Every distance ends at our pin for the Santa Catalina terminal, and every one is a straight line between our own map pins, not a walking route. The terminal pin is our estimate.
Walking times assume an easy pace on streets about a third longer than the straight line. Third-party port guides put Parque Santa Catalina about ten minutes’ walk from the ship.
Five things make a Las Palmas night before easy or hard. Here the walk to the terminal and breakfast do most of the work. Points come from the hotel’s own site or its brand’s, or a named listing where we say so.
Silence scores zero, not a guess. Where a hotel’s own site couldn’t be found, we used a named listing and label it on the hotel’s page.
By band, from our terminal pin: Santa Catalina, within about 800 m, 30; Las Canteras and Alcaravaneras, to about 1.6 km, 25; Ciudad Jardín to San Telmo, to about 4.5 km, 20; the south, near the airport, 10.
A transfer the hotel runs or arranges, with a published price, 25. A ride only inside a package 20. The hotel’s own ride with no published fare 15. A walk the hotel itself prints at half a mile or less 15. Nobody in Las Palmas scores here; no hotel publishes a ride or a walk to the cruise terminal.
A published rate to leave the car at the hotel while you cruise 20; offered, but unpriced or not guaranteed, 14. Day rates in a public garage don’t count. Nobody scores here either: no hotel offers parking for a cruise.
A breakfast the hotel says is included scores 10. Only Bull Reina Isabel says every room type includes breakfast. The AC, LIVVO Lumm, the Royal Hideaway, the Occidental and Sercotel all sell it separately.
Pool 3, food or a bar on site 3, a kitchen in the room 3, a sauna or spa 3, a gym 3. The Royal Hideaway’s spa counts even though it charges €15 a day; Bull’s is free.
Ties are broken in order: any published parking for your cruise, any stated ride to the ship, free breakfast, then the shorter straight-line distance to the cruise terminal. AC Gran Canaria takes second from LIVVO Lumm, both on 39, by about 300 m.
What’s left out is deliberate. Room rates move by the day, so they aren’t scored, and review scores neither. Distances are straight lines between our own map pins, not routed walks or drives, and we say so wherever they appear.
No hotel in our ten sells parking for a cruise, and we found no published cruise-parking rate at the terminal.
At the hotels. Day rates for your stay, not cruise deals: Sercotel €10 a day booked ahead, Cristina €12, NH €17.50 at La Puntilla, LIVVO Lumm €18 nearby and the Royal Hideaway €20. Bull’s parking is free but limited and can’t be reserved.
At the port. A third-party port guide says the port-side parking is for workers and transfers. MSC says its guests can book parking through MSC, with no price shown. Fly in if you can.
We checked more hotels than we ranked. The ones we left out:
| Hotel | Why it isn’t ranked |
|---|---|
| Exe Las Palmas, Design Plus Bex, Hotel Puerto de la Luz, Hotel Pujol | We found only booking-site listings and no hotel or brand page to score from. |
| VEINTIUNO Emblematic Hotels (Vegueta) | A seven-room adults-only hotel in the old town; the listing we read gave no street address, so we couldn’t pin it. |
Gran Canaria Airport is about 27 km from the port, per MSC. Line 60 runs to the Santa Catalina interchange for €2.95, a short walk from the four hotels nearest the terminal, and the taxi runs about €30 to €50.
Landing late? The airport-area hotel lists a free shuttle. The Getting There table shows what every hotel publishes, and the airport page has the fares and the landing check.
