Official PortMiami parking
This is the one genuine structural difference from a single-rate port: PortMiami's garages are priced by garage, not by the port as a whole, and two of them (A and B) are booked through the cruise lines.
- Most garages, short-term (no overnight): $10.00/day. Highly volatile

- Garage A (Royal Caribbean): priced and reserved through Royal Caribbean. Garage B (Norwegian): reserved through Norwegian; the port lists its rate as $35 a day, effective January 1, 2025 (checked September 25, 2026).

- Shuttle: free, but cruise-days-only — not every garage sits right at its terminal.
- Accessible parking: two hours complimentary for disabled-permit holders; free for Florida Disabled Veteran plates.

The practical takeaway: don't assume a price until you know your terminal. If you're sailing Royal Caribbean or Norwegian, your parking is priced and booked through your cruise line directly, not the port's general system — check your line's own site first.
Off-site parking
Off-site lots near PortMiami are a real category, the same as at other ports. What's different here: neither of the two operators we checked directly publishes a daily rate on their own site — both gate pricing behind a reservation flow.
- Safe Cruise Parking — about 1 mile from the port. Free shuttle for up to 5 people, roughly every 45 minutes, running 7:30am–2:00pm on cruise days. No rate published; reservation required to see pricing. Highly volatile
- Premier Cruise Parking — shuttle service advertised, distance and frequency not specified on their site. Advertises "Reserve Now And Save 50%" with no base rate shown anywhere on their own site. Highly volatile

Unlike some ports, we can't show you a "starting at" number here, because neither operator shows one without starting a reservation. That's worth knowing going in: get a quote from each, and compare the real total — not an assumed discount — against your specific garage's official rate before you decide.
Hotel park-and-cruise
A park-and-cruise package bundles a pre-cruise hotel night with parking for the length of your trip, usually with a shuttle to the port included. It solves two problems in one booking if you're flying in the day before anyway.
We've now checked 37 hotels one by one, and in Miami the park-and-cruise deals that are actually published sit by the airport, not downtown. The two Comfort hotels in Miami Springs charge $12 a night to leave your car and run a free one-way shuttle to the port each morning. Sonesta Miami Airport holds the car for $23 a night and runs its own shuttle at 9:00 and 11:00 AM for $17 a person.
Downtown, most hotels are valet-only, with overnight rates of $39 to $67.10, and don't publish a cruise rate, so the port's own garage usually wins from there. When you book, ask whether the rate covers every night you'll be gone.
