ibis Styles Le Havre Centre Auguste Perret
The closest of our eleven to the terminal, at the south end of rue de Paris, and the only one with breakfast in every stay, per Accor.
Pre-Cruise Hotels · Le Havre
Eleven hotels for a Le Havre cruise, scored on what gets you to the ship, not on reviews. Nine are in Le Havre, all within about 1.8 km of the terminal in a straight line, and every one is still a taxi ride by road. Only one lists breakfast in every stay.
Three taps and we’ll show your three picks.
Change any answer and the picks change with it. They’re built from the same published facts as the ranking below. No hotel pays for a place here. Booking.com links earn us a commission, and they don’t change the order.
Matching weighs your answers against each hotel’s published shuttle, parking, breakfast, pool, kitchen and pet policies.
Five answers, and the page builds the whole thing: the hotel, the ride in, the ride to the ship, what happens to the car, what time to leave, and how you get home. Every figure is one the hotel, a named listing, the port or the company publishes. Where nobody publishes a number, you’ll see that instead of a guess.
There’s no cruise parking to price here, so the plan assumes you fly in.
Who’s coming and the mood come from Your Match; the plan uses the same answers.
Partner links may earn Seabound Journeys a commission at no extra cost to you. They don't change the plan, which is built only from what each company publishes. Fares are in euros as printed on October 19, 2026.
The ibis Styles Perret leads on 40, the closest on our pins and the only hotel with breakfast in every stay. The Pasino is second on 34 with the best evening, and Vent d’Ouest third on 31, ahead of two others on the same score by distance.
Narrow the eleven by what your night needs. Save the ones you like. Tick up to three to compare side by side — the order is ours, the shortlist is yours.
Why eleven? We could read the facts for eleven. Two are in Paris on purpose, because the train is how most Americans get here.

Pick how you’re arriving. The board counts what each hotel publishes, the table lights up that column, and the cards below are the rides from the airport.
None of the eleven runs a ride to the ship. From the airport it’s the RER or metro 14 into Paris and the train from Saint-Lazare; only the Sheraton is at the airport itself.
Charles de Gaulle · about five hours to the terminal by train; RER B €14 into Paris, then 2h00 from Saint-Lazare
From CDG to Gare du Nord and Châtelet, 25 to 30 minutes, every 6 to 15 minutes, per Île-de-France Mobilités. Then across to Saint-Lazare.
The fastest trip to Le Havre is 4h28, with a change at Massy TGV; 9 a day, per SNCF Connect.
15 a day, 05:46 to 20:40, per SNCF Connect. Then a taxi from Le Havre station; no official fare is published.
Driving? None of the eleven sells cruise parking. The tourist office says cruise passengers can reserve the Effia Vauban car park; see the parking notes below.

Every distance ends at our pin for the Pointe de Floride cruise terminal, and every one is a straight line, not a road route. The road runs round the docks, so even the closest is a taxi with bags.
We don’t give walking times here: the tourist office puts the terminal 2.5 km by road from the centre, and CruiseMapper says walking through the port is sometimes prohibited. The two Paris hotels are a train ride away.
Five things make a Le Havre night before easy or hard. Here the distance and the evening do most of the work. Points come from the hotel or its brand, or from the listing we name when we couldn’t read the hotel’s own site.
Silence scores zero, not a guess. Where we couldn’t read a hotel’s own site, the listing we name stands in, and we say so on its page.
By band, from the terminal: within about 1 km, the south end of rue de Paris and rue Voltaire, 30; the Perret centre, to about 1.4 km, 25; the station and the docks 20; Paris and the airport 5.
A transfer the hotel runs or arranges, with a published price, 25. A ride only inside a package 20. The hotel’s own ride with no published fare 15. A walk the hotel itself prints at half a mile or less 15. Nobody in Le Havre scores here; no hotel publishes a ride to the ship.
A published rate to leave the car at the hotel while you cruise 20; offered, but unpriced or not guaranteed, 14. Day rates in a public garage don’t count. Nobody scores here either; parking for your stay doesn’t count.
A breakfast the hotel says is included scores 10. Only the ibis Styles Perret, per Accor. The Adagio’s breakfast comes with some rates only, so it doesn’t score.
Pool 3, food or a bar on site 3, a kitchen in the room 3, a sauna or spa 3, a gym 3. The Pasino’s pool, sauna and spa come from Hotels.com and the tourist office; Vent d’Ouest’s spa from the Seine-Maritime listing.
Ties are broken in order: any published parking for your cruise, any stated ride to the ship, free breakfast, then the shorter straight-line distance to the cruise terminal. Vent d’Ouest, ibis Centre and the Mercure tie on 31 and fall in that order on distance; the Mercure’s pin is our estimate. Novotel and Adagio tie on 26, and the two Paris hotels on 11.
What’s left out is deliberate. Room rates move by the day, so they aren’t scored, and review scores neither. Distances are straight lines between our own map pins, not routed walks or drives, and we say so wherever they appear.
No hotel in our eleven sells parking for a cruise. Le Havre is a train port for Americans.
At the hotels. Rates for your stay, not for a cruise, all per listings: Adagio €7 a day, Vent d’Ouest €8, the ARThotel’s off-site car park €8, Novotel €9 and the Mercure €12. The tourist office lists free parking at the Pasino; Hotels.com says spaces are limited. Ask any of them before you leave a car for a week.
At the port. The tourist office says cruise passengers can reserve long-term parking at the Effia Vauban car park. No rate is published, so we can’t total it.
We checked a few more hotels and couldn’t open enough of their pages to score them fairly, so they aren’t ranked.
| Hotel | Why it isn’t ranked |
|---|---|
| NOMAD Hotel Le Havre | A Travel Weekly listing names it by the station, but its page timed out for us. |
| Accor’s own hotel pages | They timed out for every Le Havre property but the ibis Styles, so the Mercure, Novotel, ibis Centre and Adagio are scored from listings. |
Your flight lands in Paris. From Charles de Gaulle it’s the RER B, €14, then the train from Saint-Lazare, 2h00 at the fastest; from Orly, metro line 14 runs straight to Saint-Lazare.
Landing late? Sleep by Saint-Lazare and take a morning train. The Getting There table shows what every hotel publishes, and the airport page has the fares and the landing check.

On our scoring, the ibis Styles Le Havre Centre Auguste Perret: the closest to the terminal on our pins, about 750 m in a straight line, and the only hotel with breakfast in every stay, per Accor.
We wouldn’t with bags. The tourist office puts the terminal 2.5 km by road from the centre and the station, and CruiseMapper says walking through the port is sometimes prohibited. Take a taxi.
Either works. Le Havre puts you a short taxi from the ship; a hotel by Saint-Lazare gives you an evening in Paris and a 2-hour morning train. With a 16:00 or 17:00 sailing, both leave a margin.
At one of our eleven, the ibis Styles Perret, per Accor. The Adagio includes it in some rates. Elsewhere it’s extra.
The Pasino has an indoor pool, a sauna and a spa, per listings, and Vent d’Ouest has Spa Nuxe with a Turkish bath.
